They are mainly preferred mechanical equipment for oxygen demand in wastewater in conventional treatment plants.
There are many types of aeration equipment according to project requirements.

Jet Aerators
- Jet aerators are mainly used for aerating and mixing activated sludge tanks and wastewater lagoons. Jet aerators are designed to require no regular maintenance while providing the highest aeration efficiency and mixing capabilities in their class. All materials used are corrosion resistant as they are made of stainless steel or fiber reinforced plastic.
  Jet aerators can be mounted on pontoons or fixed carriers. It is versatile and can be used with simple installation options. Jet aerators can be installed in almost any tank or lagoon configuration and provide the required aeration and mixing. Aeration can be widely used in ponds and also in mixing and equalization tanks. Available as standard in powers from 2.2 kW to 18 kW.

Fixed Type and Pontoon Type Surface Aerators With Fan
- Fixed and pontoon type surface aerators with fans consist of a flat, horizontal rotating plate with peripheral vanes that agitate the surface of the tank. The design aims at minimizing energy losses and high oxygen transfer. The aerator can be installed on a bridge or float (floating aerator).

Horizontal Shaft Brush Surface Aerators
- Ptech Umwelttechnik GmbH. has manufactured and installed horizontal shaft brush surface aerators with its unique design in many treatment plants since its establishment. This type of aerator is the ideal solution for aerating, mixing and circulating wastewater in low depth tanks and small oxidation channels. Aerator brush diameter, length and immersion depth are very important parameters for brush aerator design.
